About Cheyenne
My name is Cheyenne Peters, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the family engagement coordinator for the Michigan Learning Channel (MLC) at WKAR! Before stepping into this role, I was a high school math teacher in the Lansing School District.
I enjoy all things math, STEM, and STEAM, but I’m passionate about helping kids discover their passion and providing them the tools to make their dreams a reality.
What Cheyenne loves about working at MLC
I love being able to provide families with fun and engaging educational resources and activities that kids are excited about doing. It’s rewarding to be able to take my teaching experience and continue to instill a love for learning (and math!) with media and resources provided by the Michigan Learning Channel for young learners. I also enjoy sharing resource with parents to help their young learner explore the world of possibilies and become a life-long learner.
