A Qyah Juneteenth | MOLLY OF DENALI®

Trini is excited about celebrating Juneteenth in Qyah in this animated story from the PBS KIDS series MOLLY OF DENALI. When Trini discovers that Qyah doesn’t celebrate Juneteenth, she shares her family’s traditions and enlists her grandmother to answer Molly and Tooey’s questions about the importance of the holiday. However, planning a Texas-style celebration in Qyah is not as easy as she thought. Can Trini, Molly, and Tooey find ways to celebrate Juneteenth and the emancipation of Black people who were enslaved?
