Alma Smith Jacobs | Hidden Stories: Montana’s Black Past

Alma Smith Jacobs was a Black woman raised in Montana. She pursued education outside Montana but returned to make a difference in her community. She became the first African American woman to be the head of both the Montana Library Association and the Northwest library association.
