Animal Welfare: Ligertown vs. the Law | Idaho Experience

SWAT teams, helicopters, and national media rushed to the Idaho town of Lava Hot Springs in 1995 when lions escaped from a ramshackle facility called Ligertown that held wolves and exotic wild cats, including tigers, lions, and ligers.  Idaho Experience looks at the events surrounding the tragedy at Ligertown and its effect on animal protection laws in the state.
