Barn Quilts | Folk Art Expressions

Barn quilts combine several aspects of traditional Americana: barns, quilts, and road trips.  Over the past 20 years, folk artists from Ohio to Canada have painted wood squares that are reminiscent of quilt designs, placing them, most often, on the sides of barns to tell stories about individual farms, historical events, and local communities.
