Beekeeper | FILMS BYKIDS

The film Beekeeper follows the inspiring story of Keith Griffith III, a teenage beekeeper, business owner, and advocate for mental health. After watching, students will reflect on what lessons our connections with nature can teach us about mental health and community. Students will then have an opportunity to develop their own connections with nature while also supporting local bee populations. In the activity, students will create a “Bee Hotel,” a simple bee nesting habitat that can be placed in any school or community garden and make a positive effect on the local ecosystem.
