Bison Restoration | Back from the Brink

While American Bison were never restored to the natural rangeland they once roamed so freely, buffalo herds have been established in Yellowstone National Park and the National Bison Range at Moiese. As both a wild animal and a newly recognized livestock animal, management of the American Bison is still controversial today.
