Both Bands to the World’s Fair

Orlando was one of the first cities in the Deep South to have an interracial council allowing black and white communities to communicate, sending both the Edgewater Eagle Band and the Jones’ Tiger Band to represent Orlando at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City.
