Catching Alligators | Georgia Outdoors

Researchers with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources frequently catch alligators in order to track their sizes and populations. Although alligator hunting is legal in Georgia, it is heavily regulated by the DNR. Alligators are also trapped to use for research and later released back into the wild.
