CHANJ – Connecting Habitat across New Jersey | EcoSense for Living

The northeast U.S. is densely populated and crossed by many highways that make travel easier for humans but hard for animals. This left isolated “pockets” of animals without healthy genetic diversity. The CHANJ program is creatively connecting wildlife from amphibians and rattlesnakes to bobcats and bears through the most densely developed places in the country.
