Coping with Racism | Playing for the World

The girls on the Fort Shaw basketball team encountered racism as they played expedition games across the US on their way to the World’s Fair. Fueled by anger and the desire to lead by example, the girls did not let any discriminatory languge hold them back from working hard to play the game.
