Are single-use items inherently bad? A prevalent item during 2020 was the blue, disposable mask. They are now also prevalent in landfills, according to Metro Waste Authority Education and Outreach Coordinator Sarah Borzo. Why aren’t disposable masks recyclable? Is there a better solution?
