Demographics of the British Colonies

Explore how the wide variety of people living in the British colonies shaped the culture, economy, and military efforts prior to and during the Revolutionary War. Students learn about how different groups of people contributed to the development of the colonies as well as supported the American Revolution. Students develop a deeper understanding of the complex fabric of colonial society. They may then use census data tables to do their own analysis of the demographics of that time.
