Deutsch im Turm: Episode One | Abenteuer

In this episode, we meet our teacher, Herr K (Mr. K), as well as some of the characters from the world of Deutsch im Turm: Willi Wanze (a bug who lives in a crack in an old stone wall near the fields), Benno Igel (a friendly hedgehog who co-teaches with Herr K for much of the lesson), and three talking portraits (Ludwig, Clara, and Robert) who provide lively commentary throughout. Greeting phrases Guten Tag (Good day), hallo (hello), tschüß (bye) and Auf Wiedersehen (‘Til we see each other again) are introduced and practiced through speaking and songs.
