Engineering Social Change for a Better Society | Becoming Thurgood: America’s Social Architect

Thurgood Marshall describes his training under Charles Hamilton Houston at Howard University, where law became a tool for social change. Guided by Houston’s vision and mentorship, Marshall graduated as class valedictorian, launched his career alongside his mentor, and helped build the NAACP Legal Defense Fund into the nation’s first modern civil rights law firm.
