Extremism in America | Retro Report

The Biden Administration has warned that white supremacists and other far-right extremists are the leading terror threat to the United States. This five-part series places the contemporary debate over domestic terrorism into historical context, shedding new light on the evolution of radical ideas and on the successes and failures of those tasked with stopping extremist violence. In a short, digestible format, the episodes highlight how the federal government repeatedly failed to take action, even as extremist violence moved from the fringes of society into the political mainstream.
