Frances Ellen Watkins Harper | Columbus Neighborhoods

Frances Ellen Watkins Harper was an abolitionist and suffragist. She was a prolific writer whose work took the forms of poetry, novels journalism and speeches. She helped slaves escape through the Underground Railroad and devoted her life to fighting for equality.
