Travel around the world through music with this children’s concert produced and performed by Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra in front of a live, kid-filled audience! Carnival of the Animals: Remix presents the musical ‘personality’ of animals in short movements using a small orchestra.

Begin your musical journey in the USA, then visit Australia, Thailand, China, France, South Africa, Antarctica, Trinidad and Tobago, and South America. Recorded in nine movements, each movement has educator resources for PreK to Grade 3, including animal fun facts, arts and crafts, geography/history, and caregiver/parent resources. 

This musical production was conceived by Eckart Preu, the Music Director and Conductor of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra as a way to “update” and amplify the already popular Carnival of the Animals composed by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886. Additional orchestral music was composed/arranged by Nami Melumad and included guest artists also performing folk and original music.
