Discover the story of Mindla and Mozsek Weisbrot, Holocaust survivors from Poland, as told by their son Albert Weisbrot. In 1939, Mindla was sent to a transit camp and then to Parschnitz, where she endured five years of forced labor. Both parents were liberated by Russian troops and returned to find most of their families killed. Mozsek lost his first wife, children, and seven siblings. The couple met in Reichenbach and later settled in Bergen-Belsen, where their twins were born in 1949. In 1950, they immigrated to the U.S. and moved to Cincinnati.
