Hear the story of Holocaust survivor Yolanda Feuerman, as told by her son. Born in Czechoslovakia, Yolanda was a gifted student whose education was cut short when she was expelled for being Jewish. In 1944, she was forced into the Uzhgorod Ghetto and later deported to Auschwitz. She survived three concentration camps and was liberated from Bergen-Belsen after 11 months. Nearly 30 members of her family were murdered. After recovering in Sweden, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1947 and began a new life. This tribute honors her resilience, loss, and legacy.
