Hoover Dam | Outdoor Nevada

Students watch a short video from the 4^th season of Vegas PBS’s series Outdoor Nevada and learn about the Hoover Dam. Students will learn about the Hoover Dam, Turbines, hydroelectricity, and the Bureau of Reclamation. Students will learn who initiated the construction of the dam and how it benefited the area and America. Students should know about the Great Depression in a brief mini-lesson in connection with “The Hoover Dam.”
