How Uvalde, Texas, Is Mourning after School Massacre | PBS NewsHour

Investigators looked for a motive in the elementary school shooting that killed twenty-one people, including nineteen children, in Uvalde, Texas. Gov. Greg Abbott said the gunman had shared messages about his intentions on Facebook shortly before the attack, while calls grew in Washington and elsewhere for changing gun laws. In Uvalde, the community grieved after devastating loss. Amna Nawaz reports.

Consider inviting your school counselor or administrator to your class to help facilitate the discussion, and let students know there are resources at the school including the counselor for them to speak with.
