Lewis and Clark as a Reflection of the United States

In this activity, students will see the positive and negative interactions within the Corps of Discovery, as well as with the Indigenous people. From there, students will analyze how those interactions often contradicted one another. Finally, students will compare those contradictions with those of the early nation that saw them as heroes.
