Life in Missoula | Bicycle Corps

Many members of the 25th Infantry enjoyed friendly relations with the community of Missoula. Ancestors of some soldiers recall stories about the infantry band playing at public gatherings and special events. A welcoming home community was something not many Black soldiers had experienced in other parts of the country in the wake of the Civil War.
