Learn how to create two types of personal stories, Student Reflections and Personal Narratives. A Student Reflection is a personal experience shared as a short story through an on-camera monologue, enhanced with creative visual B-roll, and typically features one student’s story. A Personal Narrative begins as a written autobiographical essay and evolves into a visual essay. Some students choose not to appear on camera, resulting in a highly creative visual presentation.
Both formats focus on personal storytelling, combining narrative techniques with visual elements to create engaging and compelling stories, which will transform your personal experiences into visually rich narratives.
