On the Go Gelato Team: “Dishing Out Girl Power” | What If – Innovator Insights

Meet the On the Go Gelato team in Bassett, NE. Their motto: “dishing out girl power.” Team members include Jillian Buell, Karley Anderson, Jaya Nelson, Brooklyn Buell, Grace Olson, and Mariah Ost. This team of dynamic entrepreneurs started their company from their high school in 2018. The school-based business was born from an FFA project, and helped by UNL’s Engler Entrepreneurship Program. The students run all aspects of the business, including production and sales. They are now marketing their product in Lincoln, Nebraska and Chicago Illinois. This is a true testament to young people starting their journeys by thinking “out of the box”!
