Creating inclusive schools for all students is of great importance. Decades worth of research evidence informs us that students do better both socially and academically when they are included in the general education environment and regular curriculum.

Unfortuanley for Derek, when he started school, there was a line drawn between he and an inclusive education environment, due in large part to antiquated exams like IQ tests. Now in the fourth grade, explore how Derek’s teachers went above-and-beyond to become Circle Makers for him.
