Positive Climate Tipping Points | Weathered

Maiya May and experts reveal the exponential growth in uptake of alternative energies, such as solar and wind power, over the past few decades. Students will learn how this trend is rapidly increasing the affordability of alternative energy, which has the potential to race us towards a positive climate tipping point and help us reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Students can tune a genuine climate simulator tool to determine how policies and timelines can lead us toward this positive climate tipping point. A poll and infographic activity lets the class raise awareness of the concept of positive tipping points within their community.
