Non-human primates are diverse and have many adaptations that help them to survive in different environments. One of these adaptations is movement. All animals are adapted to move in particular ways that help them to get food, reproduce and avoid danger. Many primates spend their life in trees and are especially adapted to move with ease amongst the branches. Other primates, including humans, have different adaptations for life on the ground.
