Pronghorn Antelope Restoration | Back from the Brink

Pronghorn antelope were once more common than buffalo in Montana, but hunting and competition with livestock caused their numbers to dwindle during the 1800s. Successful transplanting helped the Big Sky State regain its antelope herd, as well as reestablish herds in other states—even Hawaii!
