Protecting Bears | On Grizzly Ground

In this lesson, students learn how grizzly bears interact with ranchers and their cattle in the Yellowstone area. Then, the students research and write a persuasive letter based on the following prompt: “Imagine you have to write a letter to local ranchers explaining the importance of protecting grizzly bears in spite of the cost to livestock.”
