Protecting Texas Water | Take Care of Texas

Learn how one state agency—the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)— maintains quality drinking water and explore ways in which we can all combat water pollution and ensure our drinking water remains safe. 

Students view videos that feature how water quality experts manage water pollution and how states ensure communities have safe drinking water. The video focuses on Texas communities but this video would be applicable to other communities around the country. Although each video focuses on water quality, students can also focus on environmental jobs and careers.

The best way to learn about how we affect the natural environment is on a personal and community level. By educating yourself and others about Air, Water, and Waste topics, you are becoming a more environmentally conscious citizen.
