Rosie’s Camera | Albie’s Elevator

Say cheese and strike a pose as Albie experiments with photography, then make your own cardboard camera for pretend play at home.

Albie is using Rosie’s camera to take pictures of her neighbors. In her excitement, Albie takes some photos that she thinks are funny but realizes her friends might not like. With the help of street photographer Sam Aziz, Albie learns to ask permission before photographing her friends doing what they love.

In this activity, kids learn the parts of a camera while making their own from cardboard and engage in pretend play to practice asking permission.
