Of many roles that Elbert Hubbard played in his life, he was always a talented salesman. Elbert Hubbard started working for the Larkin Soap Company at 16 and quickly rose up the ranks. After leaving a lucrative career in business, Hubbard used his marketing skills to promote the Roycroft community and its hand-crafted goods. Students will examine the different advertising strategies Hubbard used to sell products and explore the world of marketing.
