Sloan Canyon Conservation Area | Outdoor Nevada

Students watch a short video from the 4^th season of Vegas PBS’s series Outdoor Nevada and learn about a Bureau of Land Management Park Ranger career and Nevada’s state animal, the Bighorn Sheep. Students will learn about the job duties of a Park Ranger, identify the Park Ranger as an example of an authority figure, recognizes the importance of the Park Ranger and their responsibilities to help protect and secure protected land. Students will also learn about Nevada’s state animal, the Bighorn Sheep.
