Liz Wagner is a first-generation farmer, which means that she didn’t grow up on a farm or in a farming family. Her farm mostly grows vegetables and sells them through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and running a farm stand with other growers and producers. Liz has to stay organized to keep track of her spending, seeds, and bed space—especially if the weather turns and she loses a crop.
