Learn about the art installation “Spirit of the Sandbagger,” which honors the tireless efforts of the Fargo community and volunteers from elsewhere in the state to fight historic floods, especially during the devastating years of 1997 and 2009. The memorial was conceived and designed by Mike Benson and the Fargo Lions Club.
