Substituting Sounds | Rise and Shine: Literacy Time

2018 Arkansas Teacher of the Year, Randi House, shows students how one word can become a different word just by substituting one sound for another. Students practice along with Ms. House as she substitutes onsets, medial vowels, and final sounds to create new words. The worksheet that accompanies this video provides students with the opportunity to practice phoneme substitution on their own.
