Teaching the Holocaust | Finding Your Roots

In this Scholar Series session, historian and author Rebecca Erbelding will guide educators through teaching the Holocaust in classrooms. Erbelding discusses why teaching the Holocaust in the classroom is important, and guides teachers through a Finding Your Roots lesson that centers around the Holocaust and actress Scarlett Johannson’s ancestors’ experience in the Warsaw Ghetto. The session focuses on how to engage students in activities and tips on how to adapt activities when teaching.
