The Changing Rangeland | Evelyn Cameron

About 100 years ago, Evelyn Cameron was concerned that settlers were over-developing the wild rangleands of Eastern Montana, which she had come to love. 

Today, balancing the growing needs of expanding populations with the preservation of our natural landscapes and resources is still a very important topic. Use this resource to think deeper about change and conservation, as well as learn more about the Homestead Act of 1862 that drew so many settlers westward.
