The Idaho State Budget | CIV ED: A Guide to Idaho Politics and Civic Engagement

Look at how Idaho leaders decide how our tax dollars are spent each year. Every legislative session in Idaho, lawmakers on the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee consider each state agency’s budget request. The committee is made up of ten House members and ten Senators who work together to create budgets based on what the state agencies need and want, as well as how much money the state receives from the taxes and fees that we pay.
