The Unique Roles and Challenges of Women in the US | College Behind Bars

Listen to the personal stories of the female students and learn about the impact their incarceration has had on their families.  

In this lesson, students will analyze a quotation from Jane Austen and discuss the unique challenges women face in our society. They will then watch the two clips and make connections between their classroom discussions with the personal stories of the female students in the film.
