Toys and Chores | Fort Roberdeau Virtual Field Trip

Explore the daily lives of children living on the frontier during the Revolutionary Era. Daily chores consisted of gathering, milking cows, foraging for plants, and other important tasks. Children also helped make food by churning milk and crushing cornmeal. After their chores were done, children played games and made toys out of naturally found materials like clay and corn husks.
