Using Art to Understand Climate Change | Craft in America: Science

In this activity, students are introduced to artist Joan Takayama-Ogawa, whose recent ceramic sculptures highlight the effects of climate change on nature. Students learn about coral reefs through Takayama-Ogawa’s work and how coral can become bleached by warming oceans.
