Watching Wildlife | On Grizzly Ground

In this lesson, students will watch a video clip that shows how scientists in the Yellowstone area track, manage, and study wildlife like grizzly bears. Then, the students take part in their own wildlife study by setting up a trail cam near their school. Over the course of a week, the trail cam records the wildlife in the area. Finally, students create graphs to represent the species and quantities of animals that were captured in the photos.
