Hear the backstory of artist pairings from Hamilton Glass, see clips from Mending Walls: The Documentary, and learn how communities and cultures can be integrated into the classroom.

The workshop is divided into two parts:

Part 1: We Need to Talk 

• How do we connect as people?
• How can we build community and social-emotional learning through discourse and connection-making?

Part 2: We Need to Make

• How do we connect as artists?
• Listen to the artists describe their process and studio practice. Think about the choices they make and how they generate and develop ideas.
