The Eastern Shoshone people have lived in their traditional homelands for over 12,000 years, maintaining a rich culture, strong values, and lasting traditions. Discover how the Tribe, deeply connected to the plains and mountains of Wyoming, secured the Wind River Indian Reservation under the respected leadership of Chief Washakie.
