Cleaning Up Red Rock Conservation Area | Outdoor Nevada

Students watch a short video from the 4^th season of Vegas PBS’s series Outdoor Nevada and learn about a group of volunteers working to preserve the Red Rock National Conservation Area. Students will learn that an impact is a strong effect on a place, person, or thing and that human impact is a strong effect caused by humans. Students will learn that agriculture, mining, water use, and other human activities have impacted the landscape; examples of Nevada landscapes that humans have impacted.
