Learn how Conestoga wagons helped transport goods from the frontier to the battlegrounds of the Revolutionary Way. After lead was mined and made into supplies for the army at Fort Roberdeau, it would be sent to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in a Conestoga wagon. With no seats, horses pulled the wagon and people walked beside or behind it.
