Preventing Grizzly Attacks | On Grizzly Ground

After watching a video about a grizzly bear attack in the Yellowstone area, students will do a book study of the chapter book I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967 by Lauren Tarshis. Throughout the book study, they will answer comprehension questions to not only become stronger readers, but also to familiarize themselves with bear safety.

• Students will be able to explain several ways to stay safe when in an area where bears are present.
